Ingredients
- 1 C diced onions
- 4 minced garlic cloves
- 4 C cooked black beans
- 1 C salsa
- 2 - 14.5 oz. cans diced tomatoes
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 3 TBS lime juice
- 1 C fresh cilantro
Preparation

- Sauté onions and garlic in 2 TBS of water until tender.
- Add the rest of the ingredients except the lime juice and cilantro and simmer 15 minutes.
- Remove from stove and stir in lime juice and cilantro.
- Serve over brown rice.
