Easy Burgers


In large bowl, put:

  • 3 cups oats (quick or a combination of quick and rolled)

  • 1 med. finely chopped onion (optional, but delicious!)

Blend til smooth in high speed blender:

  • 1 large onion, quartered

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce OR Bragg's Liquid Amino's OR miso paste

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp sage (or other favorite herb)

  • 1 cup walnuts (or pecans or almonds)

  • 2 cups water

Add blended mixture to oats, and let sit for 10 minutes.

Shape into patties on lightly sprayed pan or line pan with parchment paper.

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.  Flip and bake for 20 more.
