Ingredients
- 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted
- 1 cup walnut or pecans or slivered almonds
- 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut, shredded
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon (optional, but good with pumpkin pie)
Preparation
- Put everything in a food processor and process until a ball forms.
- Press this mixture into a 9" pie pan.
- Refrigerate until ready to use for a baked pie.
- If you're needing a baked crust for your pie, bake the crust at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool before adding filling.
