Should make about a quart.
Ingredients
- 1/2 small sweet onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 small tomatillo
- 1/2 cup cilantro
- 1/2 jalapeno pepper
- 1 - 29 ounce can Hunts® diced tomatoes (brand does matter!)
- Salt to taste
Preparation
- In a food processor whiz the onion, garlic, cilantro, jalapeno and tomatillo together until very fine.
- Add the can of tomatoes and pulse until tomatoes are desired size.
- Stir together.
Note: Keeps in the fridge for about a week.
