1 pound firm or extra firm tofu, drained and cubed
1/4 cup sesame seeds, toasted
1/4 cup Tamari or low sodium soy sauce
1 Tblsp. onion powder
2 tsp. garlic paste or 4 cloves garlic, mashed
1/2 cup vegetable broth
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
Toast sesame seeds in a hot, dry skillet, stirring constantly, until golden brown and fragrant.
Immediately remove from heat. Add everything to a high powered blender and blend well.
Pour the mix into a bowl with the tofu and mix well. Let it stand for 30 min.
Put the tofu on a baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
