8 C of whole wheat herb bread, cubed
2 C Soy Curls
3 TBS “chicken” seasoning
4 C hot water
1 C celery, diced
2 C green onions, sliced
1/2 tsp. sage
2/3 C pecan meal
2 TBS water OR 1 TBS water + 1 TBS simple butter
Dry bread cubes in oven at 200°F until completely dry. (About 4 hours)
In a large bowl, rehydrate Soy Curls in 4 cups hot water with chicken seasoning and sage. Let sit 5 minutes.
Sauté onion and celery in small amount of water until soft.
Mix together all ingredients and place in a 9x13 pan.
Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
Serve with gravy.
