Simmer until vegetables are soft:
3 cups water
1 pound bag baby carrots
3 potatoes, cut into large chunks
1 onion, cut into large chunks
1/3 cup raw cashews
Add to vegetables and puree in a blender:
2 cloves garlic
1 1/4 tsp salt
Steam 3-4 minutes (covered) in the microwave and add to above:
4 cups chopped broccoli
1/4 cup water
