Sesame Tofu Cubes


  • 1 pound firm or extra firm tofu, drained and cubed

  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds, toasted

  • 1/4 cup Tamari or low sodium soy sauce

  • 1 Tblsp. onion powder

  • 2 tsp. garlic paste or 4 cloves garlic, mashed

  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth

  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger


  1. Toast sesame seeds in a hot, dry skillet, stirring constantly, until golden brown and fragrant.

  2. Immediately remove from heat. Add everything to a high powered blender and blend well.

  3. Pour the mix into a bowl with the tofu and mix well. Let it stand for 30 min.

  4. Put the tofu on a baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
