Simple Sour Cream


  • 1 pkg of Mori-nu silken tofu (see note below)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 TBS lemon juice
  • Optional: 2 tsp dill or to your taste.


  1. Put all ingredients in the blender except dill weed and blend until smooth.
  2. Then mix in dill weed if using.
  3. Can be served immediately but will thicken when chilled.

NOTE: Any of the Mori-nu Silken tofu can be used. The firm will make a thicker tofu sour cream and soft tofu a thinner sour cream.

It can also be used as a salad dressing. To thin it, add unsweetened, non-flavored plant-based milk or water to the desired consistency.
