Oil Free Granola


  • 4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats

  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

  • 1/4 cup flaxseed meal

  • 1 Tbs ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

  • 1 Tbs vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp salt


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheet with parchment.

  2. Put all the dry ingredients in large bowl and mix well.

  3. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry oat mixture and toss until everything is covered and combined.

  4. Spread the granola evenly over the baking sheet ad bake for 35-40 minutes until it’s golden. Be careful not to let it burn.

  5. Gently toss the granola halfway through the cooking process.

  6. When the granola is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for 15-20 minutes. Then, store in a airtight container.

Note: Can leave granola baking at 170°F for 8 to 10 hours until done without having to stir it.
