2 jars oil-free pasta sauce (plus enough water to rinse jars)
1 28-oz. can crushed or petite-diced tomatoes
1 large, sweet onion, minced
2 cups Tofu Sausage Crumbles
1 Tblsp. dried oregano or Italian seasoning
6 cloves garlic, mashed or 1 Tblsp. garlic paste
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. honey
1 Tblsp. onion powder
Lightly spray a large pot and heat over medium/high heat until hot.
Add onions and garlic.
Cook and stir frequently for 5-8 minutes, until onions begin to brown.
Lower heat to medium/low and add everything else, except tofu sausage crumbles.
Stir and simmer for 30 minutes (or longer, if you have time).
Add tofu sausage crumbles and stir again.
Use in lasagna, any pasta dish or over baked potatoes.
